Meet Timothy Andrassy at Psychiatry of the Palm Beaches in Florida

Timothy loves helping people be a better version of themselves today than they were yesterday. Timothy is passionate about understanding and helping patients understand the many factors that have contributed to their mental health struggles and using this gained insight and his coaching to rebuild their wellness and live their full lives. Timothy has always been fascinated with the mysteries of the human mind; it always seems to offer a challenge and understanding what is happening and how to get to a better you is so rewarding!

As a high school and college athlete, Timothy learned about anxiety, depression, and OCD. With an obsession with trying to live up to expectations and perform, Timothy found himself anxious and depressed and struggling as an athlete in college. He then had a breakthrough! Timothy’s coach helped him to not focus on his failures and bad events; he learned how to forgive himself for mistakes and learn from them rather than ruminating on them. With this changed mentality and approach, he was able to move forward with confidence, was able to overcome anxiety and depression, his athletic performance greatly improved… and the inspiration for his future career was born.

When he partners with his patients to “help them live their best life”, Timothy embraces any challenge and tirelessly works with you towards answers and moving forward. He finds that his struggles, as well as his long journey in sports psychology, have prepared him to help others find their wins in the team sport we call life. Sometimes you need a friend, sometimes you need a coach, and sometimes you need a dedicated fan. Timothy is also a man of faith, who believes in a Higher Power. He believes that humans are beautiful creations in the image of God and, as such, deserve to feel well and fulfilled. He is grateful for the opportunity to help you.
